Registered Manager Kimberley Leech is an experienced social worker and safeguarding lead, dedicated to delivering positive, lasting outcomes for families through collaborative and skilled assessment work.
Responsible Individual Jacqui Nicholls-Murfitt brings a wealth of leadership and frontline social work experience, driven by a passion for safeguarding and helping children thrive.
Clinical Director Dr Mica Douglas combines psychotherapy and social work expertise to guide therapeutic practice across the Flourish Group
Lead Psychotherapist Debra Payne brings extensive experience in therapeutic services and specialises in integrative psychotherapy and relational approaches.

Here are some common questions about our services and assessments to help you understand better.
Our process begins with an initial consultation to understand your needs. We then conduct comprehensive assessments in a safe environment. Finally, we provide detailed reports and recommendations based on our findings.
Standard parenting capacity assessments are typically conducted over a 12-week period, with an additional two weeks required for the final report to be written.
Assessments are conducted by qualified and registered social workers, including:
A dedicated in-house Assessing Social Worker
Staff trained in the ParentAssess framework, particularly for working with parents with learning difficulties or autism
Oversight and guidance provided by the Clinical Director and Lead Psychotherapist
All assessors work within a therapeutic, trauma-informed model in line with best practice and legal requirements.
Flourish operates an open-door policy, encouraging families to raise concerns at any time.
Weekly meetings are held with key workers and managers, and parents are supported to discuss:
Assessment feedback
Risk concerns
Legal or safeguarding matters
Families also receive their daily logs and weekly updates, and are encouraged to provide comments or discuss any issues with staff.
In the case of serious concerns or complaints, Flourish has a dedicated Complaints Policy and Procedure in place.
Referrals are typically made by Local Authorities. The Registered Manager reviews all referrals, including:
A completed referral form
A Letter of Instruction (if the case is in family proceedings)
Relevant supporting documents
